My Garage Kit Gallery
My Garage Kit Gallery
ESTABLISHED SEPTEMBER 2005.

Welcome - I hope you enjoy viewing my work. I modify most of my figure kits so that they wind up quite different from the original. (And there is a lot more here than just dinosaurs - so browse on!) I re-discovered the joy of art in mid-life and its been a joy to create and share my vision with others. Art, like all creative gifts, exists to be shared so as to enrich the lives of others.

So this website is my gift to you. If you have an interest in art/sculpting/modeling of all kinds of subjects, I would recommend that you check out the Internet Figure Modeling Clubhouse at

INTERNET CLUBHOUSE and also see

MODEL WARSHIPS.COM

At both sites you will find incredible artists and sculptors, some nationally known. Their work will leave you in awe.

Thank you for stopping by!

Terhune Brothers from "Cadillacs & Dinosaurs"

Here is my second "Xenozoic Tales" (aka "Cadillacs & Dinosaurs") bash.

These are Hammer & Vice Terhune and their "Tribike". The Terhune brothers are the poacher-villains of the "Xenozoic Tales" saga by graphic artist Mark Schultz.

The "Harpoon" section of the Tribike was bashed with the pillar modified and the original cartoonish gun was replaced by a more realistic-looking cannon (also from the Tyco toy line for this series). I sculpted the tip of the harpoon with Quickplactic putty. Hammer and Vice were painted with oil washes to give more texture and depth to the figures. After bashing the tribike I used German WW2 vehicle model paints to finish it off, and painted the skull from the original gold to a realistic bone-looking shade and finished with oil washes.
